JioMeet Plans, Pricing and Promotions: JioMeet Pricing Plans

One of the most attractive features of Jiomeet is that it is absolutely free. All the Jio and non-Jio users on Android, iOS and Windows can avail it free of cost. Jio has not announced its paid plans yet and it is not clear how JioMeet accommodate medium and large enterprises. But, for the personal and small business use it can be used all free of cost and can host up to 100 participants with no cap on time. Continual meetings up to 24 hours can be attended.

JioMeet Vs Zoom: Is JioMeet Copy of Zoom?

A lot of people consider JioMeet as a close competitor of Zoom. It is similar to zoom in many aspects but there are certain differences as well.

Here is a quick look at JioMeet Vs Zoom Reviews

JioMeet Vs Zoom: Pricing Review !

One of the key features where JioMeet is similar to the Zoom is it allows up to 100 participants like Zoom. But, in Zoom meetings can last up to 40 minutes only whereas there is no time cap in JioMeet meetings. So, if you are using a Zoom video-conferencing app you have to start a new call after 40 minutes whereas meetings conducted using JioMeet can run continually up to 24 hours.

Moreover, Zoom has three paid plans for small, medium and large enterprises and for the large enterprise pack; it allows as many 1000 participants to join the meet. On the other hand, JioMeet has not launched its paid plan and it is not clear how much it has to offer for the large enterprise. But, JioMeet is clear-cut winner to Zoom when it comes to limited or free use.

JioMeet Vs Zoom: User Experience Review:

There is not much difference between Zoom and JioMeet when it comes to the user experience. JioMeet is available free of cost across all the platforms like Android, iOS, Windows or MacOS etc. It can be downloaded from Google Play store, from app store or from its official website.

Users can schedule meetings in advance, can generate password protected meetings and create waiting rooms. But, the video quality is limited to 720 pixels only (To check this, you can use third-party camera apps). Zoom provides similar feature but has a far superior HD quality.

JioMeet Vs Zoom: Encryption and Security: Which Is Better Zoom Or Jio Meet?

Officials of Reliance Jio claim that all the meetings which are conducted through JioMeet app are encrypted. However, the company has not come up with further details on E2E or End-to-End Encryption. Zoom offers E2E encryption both to its paid and free users and hence zoom meets are said to be more secure.

Users of Zoom app cannot expand participant’s video whereas users of JioMeet meetings can expand any video or share the screen video also just by a double tapping.

That apart, JioMeet has two advanced meeting settings which are not available in Zoom. First of all, it allows participants from the organization of host only and when enabled, only the users from host’s organization can join meet, which checks any malicious snooping from other IDs.

Conclusion: Final Thoughts on JIO Meet Review !

Zoom is the nearest competitor of JioMeet which is undoubtedly one of largest downloaded apps and has gained a strong foothold. There are several reasons why JioMeet is gaining an edge over its other competitors.

No cap on the time of meetings and ability of the users to easily switch from one device to another are some of the attractive features that have made JioMeet a darling for conducting video meetings.

JioMeet does not allow the guest users. Everyone has to sign-up for the meeting to join and hence any anonymous users cannot join the call. There are no call drops and users can experience uninterrupted and hassle-free calling.

Overall, a great video conferencing app that offers attractive features like Safe Driving Mode, Encrypted meetings and waiting rooms etc.

Moreover, it is all free of cost! So, download this app to have a wonderful and un-interrupted HD meeting experience with your personal and professional relations.

JioMeet is a free video-conferencing app which is meeting the expectations of its users!
